I see this summit is hosted by JMARK. Is this just a daylong sales pitch for your services?

Not at all. At JMARK, we know that technology permeates every aspect of the work we all do. We also know that keeping up with the best, most innovative strategies and tactics to take advantage of technology is a challenge al business leaders face. So we designed the Business Innovation Technology Summit to bring together business thought-leaders and I.T. innovators to show how a thoughtful, forward-looking approach to technology can make businesses more productive and profitable, more dominant and dynamic. JBITS 2020 is two days of learning, inspiration, networking, and motivation designed for visionary modern business leaders who are ready to accelerate the velocity of their success.

 

What is the Business Innovation Technology Summit?

Business Innovation Technology Summit 2020 is a meeting of the minds between accomplished experts in information technology implementation and business execution; a chance to collaborate, consult, and connect with I.T. authorities, thought leaders, and market trailblazers.

 

Will I become a business genius and leader of the pack in my market if I attend this Summit?

We can’t make any promises, because, like everything, you’ll get out of JBITS what you put into it. But that’s always a possibility. What we can promise you is two days jam packed with game-changing information, deep dives into vital business technology topics, honest talk about modern business challenges, and illuminating insight into the ways technology can alleviate those problems.

How much does it cost to attend the Business Innovation Technology Summit?

$649.00 per attendee. (But we’d be remiss not to point out that the full value of everything you get at that ticket price is actually $1,549.00!)

How do I register to attend the Business Innovation Technology Summit?

Simply click the Register button on any page of this website (including the top of this page) and fill out the information on the page that pops up. If you are a JMARK client, you may also contact your client relationship manager, who would be happy to help you register.

 

How will I get a receipt for my registration?

You will receive an email with your invoice and ticket. This confirms your registration. Your ticket will be in the form of a PDF with a QR code that will be scanned on the day of the Summit.

You may need to check your spam filter if you have registered but not received confirmation. If you are still having trouble, please contact Events@JMARK.com for assistance.

 

Which members of my organization should attend? How many of my team members can join me?

The Business Innovation Technology Summit has tracks that will be of interest to every member of your team. See the Tracks page of this site to get an idea of which track would work best for which department of yours. Register and bring as many of your team members as you’d like! Be sure and plan a divide and conquer strategy to the tracks and sessions so your entire organization can benefit from the wealth of insight and knowledge that will be available at this Summit!

 

What meals are included with Summit registration?

Breakfast and lunch will be provided both days. However, the meal will vary depending on your registration package. Please see the Registration page for more details.

A light dinner will be served at the Disruption Party on the evening of the 29th.

 

Is there a dress code for this conference?

Business casual. You’re also welcome to break out your best tuxedo or ball gown for the occasion if you’d like. Just please don’t ask us for help with your bowtie. We don’t know how those things work either.

 

What time should I arrive at the convention center on the day of the event?

On Day 1, April 29th, breakfast is available starting at 7:00 A.M. and ends at 10:00 A.M., with the festivities kicking off promptly thereafter. You’ll also need to plan time to pick up your badge and bag of goodies within that same window. There is plenty of parking at the venue, but you should still plan to give yourself plenty of time to park, sign in, and eat. Don’t be late! We’re super excited to see you and have so much to share that we want to pack as much value into the day as possible.

On Day 2, April 30th, the breakfast window is much shorter. It begins at 7:30 A.M., and ends at 8:45 A.M. You’ll already be signed in, so you won’t need to arrive quite as early. You can probably hit “snooze” one time on your alarm and still make it on time. But don’t cut it too close; you’ll be sorry if you have to hit the morning breakout sessions on an empty stomach!

 

Will recordings of the sessions or keynotes be available? Can I record them myself?

Yes, every keynote and all the breakout sessions will be recorded in full. These videos will be available for free as part of the Disruptor pass. After the conference, VIP and Innovator pass holders will be able to purchase copies of the videos for a discounted price. Please see the Register page for full details.

You may take photos and record brief snippets of a speaker for use on social media, but you may not record any keynote or session in full. Regarding the posting of any content, however brief, all rights are reserved by the speakers. Please use common courtesy and ask the speakers or session leader if they mind being photographed, quoted, and posted before you do so. We also ask that you are courteous of other attendees and not block their view of proceedings.

 

Will there be internet and power stations available at the convention center?

Yes, Wi-Fi is provided courtesy of the University Plaza Hotel & Convention Center, and there will be plenty of power stations available to keep all your devices charged up and ready to go.

Well, our extremely proud mothers and spouses couldn’t help themselves. They already told all their friends. So that’s exciting!

What does #JBITS2020 mean?

#JBITS2020 is the hashtag we’ve chosen to represent the Business Innovation Technology Summit. We assumed that you’d be excited to share pictures, thoughts, and lessons from the Summit on your favorite social media app, but that you would be measurably less excited if we forced you to type out #businessinnovationtechnologysummit! So we chopped off all but the first letters of those long words and added “2020” so that a year from now when we’re reminiscing we’ll all be able to remember exactly when we attended that mind-blowing conference in Springfield. As for the “J”… well, that’s just us showing our kooky side and playing off the “J” in JMARK. Plus, we like the way “J-BITS” just rolls off the tongue!

 

Do you have a short video I can watch explaining what someone from my industry will get out of attending?

Great question! We have some in the works, and they should soon appear on this very site, so check back often to make sure you see the video for your industry when it is posted!
